Will DriveRestore recover and repair my Hard Drive?

The FREE evaluation Edition will enable you to analyse your drive to determine the potential for System recovery. The potential for recovery is detailed as either low, Moderate or High. If the recovery potential is detailed as low, then it is unlikely that DriveRestore will recover your drive. If the potential is detailed as Moderate or High then it is likely that DriveRestore will repair and recover your Drive.

IMPORTANT Secure Recovery Tips

The following must be observed to ensure optimum drive analysis and recovery:

Card Readers.
Many PC's, Laptops etc. have card readers that are attached as USB devices or have in-built bay card readers. To ensure the safe recovery of your drive, it is IMPORTANT that ALL EMPTY card readers (on the installation PC) are either temporarily removed or temporarily disabled. If they remain attached then DriveRestore will close e.g with the message  "encountered a problem and needs to close". This is to help ensure that there is no further potential for drive corruption. You can remove empty card readers by unplugging the device from the back of your PC or by disabling them within Windows.
Go to Settings>Hardware>DeviceManager and double click on disk drives. If empty card reader device(s) is/are displayed then it is necessary to highlight it/them and right click and choose to temporarily disable it/them.

Do Not attempt to restore the same drive that DriveRestore is installed on!
If you attempt to run DriveRestore on the same drive that DriveRestore is installed on (the Master drive), then you will be presented with a warning that reads " The selected drive is the Master Drive. The corrupted drive must be attached as a secondary/slave drive or removable media". In some situations this will appear when the drive is not the Master Drive. If the warning message appears and you wish to bypass this then this can be achieved as follows:
Click OK in the message box and choose BACK to start the procedure again. This time when you do the analysis of the drive the analysis should complete enabling the restoration of the drive.

DriveRestore is available for the following:

PC Recovery
DriveRestore is the "easy" means of recovering your crashed or corrupted PC. Connect the corrupted/crashed PC's hard drive to a "healthy" PC (easy to follow instructions are available on the DriveRestore product help page). Install DriveRestore on the "healthy" PC and then Run and Restore! Reconnect your drive and restart your restored computer. Further information is available here: 5 Steps to Recovering a Hard Drive

Data Integrity
Security of your data is critical in any data recovery process. To ensure the integrity of your data, DriveRestore provides (as a default) a Rollback function that will enable you to "Rollback" the drive to its state prior to your running DriveRestore. The Rollback function will always ensure the integrity of your data. For further information on data integrity read: Why is DriveRestore Secure?
